Jeffrey Campbell Trunk Show!

The Jeffrey Campbell Trunk Show was a huge success here at J.Karma! It was a night of champagne, design, and J.Karma shoppers looking extra cute in their JC's. Here to help host the event was Ty from Jeffrey Campbell who came down from New York to fill all of you in on the hottest shoes for this season as well as a sneak peak of Spring/Summer! We saw lots of our regular customers and some new faces as well. Thanks guys!!

Windows Throughout Old City

This is a really cool contest and exhibit celebrating innovative thinking and visual inspiration from students, recent grads, professionals and artists in various fields of design. During the city-wide design celebration "Design Philadelphia", Old City windows will be transformed into exciting visual displays for public viewing. You get to vote for your favorite window along with other special events spotlighting all things design.

Shoe of the Month: October

One of the newest additions on the shelves at J.Karma is this little beauty from the BCBG Generation collection. As you know I love metallic so when we unpacked this shoe I fell for it instantly. Reese Witherspoon @ J.Karma

So OK, I get excited over this kind of thing. It is not everyday that an "A lister" comes strolling down third street and into J.Karma. She browsed around and her entourage gushed over the FRYE boots and then she left and continued to shop in Old City. Thanks for the local business support Reese. Of course I wanted to freak out about the fact that she was in the store but I kept my cool guys, until she left of course then I had to fill Jeanne in. I found two images, the second image was the way she we saw her and the first photo I just think is beautiful.

Fall

Well I don't know about you but this was the fastest summer of my entire life. I was on my way home around 7:45ish and it was almost dark and that's when I realized that fall was really here. I have to admit that the only things I enjoy about the weather getting cooler is boots and tights, fall/winter fashion, oh and leaving my windows open in my apartment. Here are some of my favorite pieces that we have stocked our shelves with recently. There is more to come!
