The Small Pocket Book..

Is BACK, and there is nothing any of us can do about it. My first thought was oh my, I want every single one of them (This is what gets Jeanne and I in trouble when we on buying trips). My second thought is how in the heck am I going to transition from my big bag to one of these really small bags? My third thought was, well if this is my biggest worry right now I'm in pretty good shape at the moment. HA.

My big bag is my everyday take to work bag, but the truth of the matter is, I don't need all of this stuff and all of this extra room when I'm running my errands. This is where the small cross-body bag comes in handy. I can put my wallet, keys, and chap-stick in it and I am ready to go!

Lately..

Lately we have been a little short with you, but for good reason! We have been super busy these past few weeks so lets do a little recap of what has been going on at J.Karma..

1. 1st Friday! We love First Fridays in Old City! If you're in town the first Friday of the month, there is no better way to kick off your weekend! Be sure to stop in and grab a glass of wine or a sweet cocktail from ABSOLUT. This February First Friday was great but we can't help but think about the warmer months to come! First Friday in the Spring/Summer is the BEST!

2. Valentines Day "Sweetheart Sale"! We teamed up with Moko Beauty, Three Sirens Boutique, and Pinot Boutique to bring you a night of "wine-tinis", chocolate, and major sales! Did you come? What did you think?

3. We are participating in the "Philadelphia Flower Show Window Design Contest" again this year. Remember our window last year? We finally finished our display for this year and just sent our pictures in!

4. SHOES & BOOZE! Like we said before, this is one of our favorite events and we already can't wait till the next one! Thanks again to everyone who came out and thank you, thank you, thank you to ABSOLUT and Sarah for providing the booze, and Alex for bar-tending! We also held a "Villette Jewelry" by Kelly Jones Trunk-show! Thanks to Kelly for coming out, we LOVE her jewelry!  

5. Our Spring merchandise keeps on rolling in! Over the past 2 weeks we have received NEW Spring handbags from Melie Bianco, Big Buddha, Hilary Radley, and Sondra Roberts SRSquared! We have been editing, photographing, updating the website, twit pic-ing ;), and updating facebook in order to keep you updated on everything NEW.

6. We introduced two new jewelry lines, "Sweet Romance" and "Olli Pop".

7. Last but not least Jeffrey Campbell Spring shoes are starting to arrive. As always we are falling all over ourselves! Come check out what is in stock today!

SHOES & BOOZE!

Yes, I know I know ladies it's a VERY exciting time of the year, but I am going to need you to calm down so I can get through the rest of this post. Thank you ;)

OK. By now we all know what "Shoes & Booze" is all about but what the hey, we are going to go over it one more time because it does sound a tad unbelievable. And maybe there are some newbies out there so lets make sure we are all on the same page. Here it goes..

"Shoes & Booze" at J.Karma is a night you gather all your girlfriends, you get a babysitter if need be, and you make your way to Old City.  This is the one night that you get 40% - 75% OFF that awesome pair of boots you've been lusting over ALL season and you just couldn't bring yourself to buy. For a lot of you this is a night that you buy that awesome pair of boots, that really sexy pump, and that flat you can walk back and forth to work in. Not to mention you can also easily carry that flat over to next seasons wardrobe without breaking the bank. You may break your jaw when it hits the ground when you see all the money you SAVED! (ha, that was my lame attempt at a joke. Some of you laughed right?)

You and your girlfriends start treating yourselves to a couple cocktails and the next thing you know you're dancing your little heart out singing along to Lady Gaga's "Telephone" in the middle of the store (it's OK, we totally approve) because lets face it shopping for shoes at MAJOR discounts is hard work!

OK, so now that we have that picture painted let me fill you in on the "extras" that will surely help make this one of the best nights of your life, OK maybe your week or even your month is believable. Local Jewelry designer Kelly Jones of "Villette Jewelry" will be here with new jewelry so come out and meet her! Although this event is mostly about the shoes we don't want the handbags and jewelry feeling left out so we are going to go ahead and discount those as well. And don't think we will let you go hungry or drink on a empty stomach, there will be munchies and music! Which means that Jeanne will without a doubt be busting out her dance moves and if you've never seen her bust out in dance then that my friend is reason enough to get out here!
